Answers to customers’ questions
FAQ – frequently asked questions
Simply contact us by phone or e-mail and arrange a measurement. Our sales representative will visit you, measure the windows and give you a quote on the spot. If you decide to go ahead, they will prepare the documents for your order.
Every order is carried out on the basis of a signed contract and an order form. The signed documents guarantee that your order is carried out correctly. The contract can be signed during the visit or sent to you electronically.
The measurement is always free and non-binding. Regardless of the number of products ordered and the location of the building, the customer pays nothing for measuring and advice.
Free installation is one of our distinguishing features. Customers do not pay for this service. No matter how complicated the installation is, it is always free of charge.
The lead time depends on the time of year. In the season it is usually 10–14 working days; outside the season it is shorter, 8–10 working days.
If you are our customer and your warranty is still valid, simply report it to reklamacje@wrolety.pl. Send a message describing the problem, attach photos and your contact details. We will take care of the rest.
We give a 3-year warranty on our products, counted from the date of installation. It covers all moving parts of the system, the installation and the operation of the blind. Fabrics are covered by a 2-year warranty.
Of course – after the warranty expires, every customer can still count on support from our technicians. Just call us and we will do our best to solve any problem.
This is one of the things that sets us apart from other companies on the market – we consciously decided not to open an office. Our sales representatives serve customers directly at home. This allows us to offer you products at competitively low prices.
In some cases blinds can be fitted on hangers that do not damage the window. This is practical because no trace is left on the sash after the mechanism is removed. Our employee will tell you during the measurement whether this solution is possible.
Fitting a blind on the window sash may limit the opening angle. In most cases the space between the reveal and the sash is so small that the sash rests against the wall when opened.
Unfortunately, this type of glazing bead does not allow us to glue the cassette. Gravity and the reduced bonding area mean the blind would not hold on adhesive alone.
Fabric blinds (including day-night ones) come in two types: with a cassette and without one. This means the roller with the fabric and the mechanism parts can be enclosed in an aluminium cassette painted to match the window frames. Blinds without a cassette are slightly cheaper but just as neat and practical.
Yes. The range of such fabrics that we offer comes in two versions – blackout and translucent. Their undoubted advantage is that the guide cords are invisible, hidden inside the fabric. At the same time, this type of fabric gives better thermal insulation.
This is a blind control mechanism with a brake that holds the fabric in place even after the chain is released. It is the most popular of all mechanisms used in window covering systems.
Of course – for every type of blind or pleated blind we can use a fabric that significantly reduces daylight. Remember, however, that it is not advisable to darken living rooms, kitchens or other daytime rooms. Blackout fabrics are ideal for bedrooms, studies and special-purpose rooms.
Both types of fabric are blackout materials. Their job is to block out light and reduce heating of the room. Rubber-backed fabric is in most cases the same colour on the outside and the inside. Silver-coated fabric is always silver on the outside. Keep this effect in mind when choosing a material.
Aluminium and wooden blinds behave similarly when pulled up. Their height is usually about 15–20% of the total height of the fully lowered blind. If a blind is, for example, 2 m tall, it will take up 45 to 60 cm once raised.
Depending on its height, a Roman blind usually takes up about 25 cm when fully raised.
Cleaning the blind fabric is not possible because of the way it is fixed. The fabric is not water-resistant and therefore not suitable for wet cleaning. As a rule, fabric blinds are not cleaned.
