Made-to-measure external roller shutters in Wrocław
An external roller shutter is an armour of aluminium profiles that is lowered in front of the window. It stops solar heat before it warms the glass, so it is much cooler indoors on hot days – especially in the attic and on the south side.
A lowered shutter fully darkens a bedroom, protects from prying eyes and noticeably reduces street noise. In winter the extra layer of air between the armour and the glass reduces heat loss and therefore heating bills.
Burglary protection
A lowered armour is an extra barrier that makes access to the window harder. This is especially important in private houses and ground-floor flats, and when you are away.
An electric motor lets you lower the shutters on a schedule – even when you are not at home.
Types of mounting
A surface-mounted (retrofit) shutter is fitted to the façade or window – without chasing walls, also in an existing house. A concealed shutter has a cassette hidden under plaster or in the insulation – it is worth planning at the construction or thermal upgrade stage. For roof windows we offer special external roller shutters.
We match the colour of the armour and cassette to the façade and windows.
Control and service
Shutters can be operated manually, with a button, with a remote and in many cases through a phone app. Integration with a smart-home system is possible.
We visit you for a free measurement in Wrocław and the surrounding area, as well as in Wałbrzych, Świdnica and Świebodzice. Installation is included in the price, with a 3-year warranty.
